That moment got me too. 🥲 Then I had an extra warm feeling when Booth placed his hand on Max's shoulder, welcoming him in. Because I remembered that Seeley was a big proponent for Temperance mending fences with her father, even through all the suspicion and reality of his criminal past. Given Booth's own fractured relationship with his father too. Which admittedly they hadn't more fully explored at that stage. I still feel it adds further complex layers to his character, which I really appreciate.
