Both versions share the callback feature although in actual mythology I believe it is tied to the gauntlets and/or belt Thor wears

2025-04-30 20:05:52 +0000 UTCOK, so in actual norse mythology the hammer is just insanely heavy and basically only Thor is innately strong enough to lift it but in the mcu lore the hammer has its own will and is literally UNABLE to be lifted by anyone it considers unworthy.
