Bound and gagged in the brig

Tonje is more than just a mere bounty hunter. Being the daughter of the Jarl of Wotan's Redoubt, Tonje has quite a few responsibilities, chief among them being part of the Fjordite Privateers. As Fjordite women don't have a romanticized view of sailing or adventure, they're a very rare sight among Fjordite ship crews, but Tonje isn't an ordinary woman. No, Tonje is a full-fledged ship mistress, her ship being the Bølgebryter, a galleon that her father commanded before he became Jarl (She's a bit of a Daddy's Girl). Since he didn't have a son or nephew ready to take command, he named Tonje shipmistress of the Bølgebryter.

Despite being the youngest ship commander of the Fjordite Armadas and the first Fjordite Shipmistress in over 500 years, young Tonje wasted little time in making for herself and the ship that's been in her family for five generations. Her crew affectionately refer to her as the "Pirate Princess", though the trade companies of Laurentia refer to her as the "Bandit Bitch of the Albi Sea." When she isn't hunting fugitives, she's aboard her ship, hunting any vessels that carelessly stumble into Fjordite waters. While she's the oldest child of Jarl Lars the Stone-Jaw, she isn't the only one and occasionally her father makes her take her siblings on as crew members.

This time around, it is Tonje's little brother, Leif (Named after Leif the Frigid Wake, the legendary Fjordite Fleetmaster that led the Fjoryka Armadas during the Frostfist Invasions), who joins her on the voyage of the Bølgebryter. Not wanting her brother to get in the way, Tonje makes him the ship's "Security Officer." In other words, he naps in the brig and Tonje gives him toys to keep him busy. Today, however, was Leif's time to shine. Tonje led a raid against a Far East merchant junk and one of the few prisoners she and her crew took was a lovely assassin known only as "Xiu." Naturally, Tonje's crew kept trying to seduce the beauty before the Pirate Princess stepped in and had the assassin bound, gagged and put in the ship's brig. However, Leif was very adamant about the brig being HIS responsibility and insisted on guarding Xiu. Not wanting to leave a kid with a dangerous killer, Tonje decided to play along and let her brother tie her up, making her his other "prisoner" (She made sure that her hand bindings were loose, in case Xiu got any funny ideas.).

Since he forgot to gag his sister, Leif had to spend the trip back the port of Wotan's Redoubt being teased by Tonje. Despite his denials, Leif finds Xiu as beautiful as the rest of the crew does. Tonje's thankful that her crew finally has another woman to obsess over instead of trying to earn the Pirate Princess' hand in marriage.
