Rule du Jour: Rule #89 - Your portfolio is a Mirror of your Mind

Rule #89 - Your portfolio is a Mirror of your Mind

Upgrade your mind relentlessly—always read, always learn, and always anticipate the next big thing. Prepare for it, rotate your portfolio into that emerging asset class, and once it's mainstream, gear up for the one after. I also call this #ABL Always Be Learning.... do not let a day pass without learning something new.

A sharp, adaptive mind is your greatest edge in the markets. Read more than you react.

A few quick tips that I always keep in mind, excuse the pun:

  1. Mature the mind first

  2. Make sure you are always getting smarter, or else your portfolio will suffer

  3. Don’t just absorb info, make sure you understand it. When you understand something, you have conviction, which helps you invest hard in future winners!

  4. Follow the smartest capital allocaters - not pumpers on X

  5. Listen to the smartest people

  6. Learn across all disciplines — psychology, biology, history, economics as this will help you identify the next big thing

  7. Write down your learnings…. Helps you remember them. I actually re-read a lot of my posts here

  8. Find the signal in the noise- ignore 99% of the info.

  9. Get wise slowly.

  10. Stay Curious…. Always ask the Why!

Galileo didn’t invent the stars 🔭 He built the tool to see them clearly. That’s the energy right now. AI isn’t replacing your brain 🧠 It’s the telescope. Use it to amplify your intelligence, extend your vision, and cut through the noise like a blade. While most are guessing with their eyes closed, we're dialed in James has been giving the signal Seeing further, learning faster, trading sharper. This is the Human Galileo Spirit. You don’t worship the stars. You build the lens to master them. 🚀 Let's catapult this crew’s IQ with tools that amplify scope and weaponize curiosity. I use Chatgpt but Grok tends to krush it in its mathematical skill, Grok isn’t used as much so it isn’t at Chatgpt’s real world tangibility but together bang zoom!!! 🏎️
