Welp... fate had different plans for me! 😅

There's a TL:DR question for you all at the bottom if you don't wanna read through the explanation 💜

I was SO excited to dive deep into a week of animation... and about a day after I made that last post about it, I got REALLY sick and was out of commission for five days straight 😓
I went to the docs and got antibiotics and heavy pain meds, barely slept and when I WAS awake it was in a daze of codeine... was not a fun time!

Needless to say I only had a day or so to work on anything... but I still was able to present what I DO have which is this successful test!
As you can see from the GIF (or the slightly higher quality vid attached), I was at least able to make SOME headway 😊

I was able to figure out how to port Nexy over to Blender, as well as her hair and clothes which was NOT a trivial thing to do. I had to "Upgrade" her to a different version of character in DAZ first, so she may look a little different in style.
I also rigged the ponytail and front hair in Blender to be able to be simulated in two separate ways, but I didn't have enough time to dial the settings in to look natural yet.

I also haven't properly converted the hair texture or her skin texture, but I'd say the clothing texture works pretty well out of the box!
And of course... I applied my mocap animation to her which was a HUGE step! 😁

My TL:DR question

Now I'm in a predicament though... I didn't post any comics last week to DO this, but because I fell sick I ALSO didn't get to work on this much...

Based on the progress I DID make I'm pretty confident I should be able to pull together a full video scene (hopefully even with voice acting!) by this time next week if I was able to take another run at this, but I would feel really bad to not post comics again seeing as that is what you guys are supporting me here for.

So the alternative is that I put the animations on the backburner again and get back to comics, and just try and work on this bit by bit like I already was doing, but I have no idea how long that would take to develop the pipeline...
With Christmas coming up though, I'd hazard a guess that I wouldn't be able to get the time to do it for at least a couple months.

I would prefer the first option as I'm pretty keen to get this off the ground, but I don't want to disappoint you guys with a lack of comics as I'm literally only able to do this BECAUSE of your support! 💜

So I want to put the question to you... would you guys rather:
-I try again now that I'm NOT sick, and get the animations rolling this week
or
-Get back to comics and put this on the backburner and hopefully have something to show in a couple months?

I'm going to make a poll after this post to make it easy for people to vote, and I'll do whichever you guys choose 😊
