The US Trip and How it affects YOU!
Added 2022-03-16 09:21:26 +0000 UTCOk, so with the US trip about 3 weeks away you might be wondering how this will affect the content you'll be receiving whilst I'm over the ocean?
So, here's the details:
Stoker, 1st Class - There should be no effect, the Drydock's will still be available the day before.
Drydock Questions - I'll be closing this months questions thread this weekend and opening the April one early, May's thread will go up as normal on April 24th. For the April thread, if you don't have your question up by the 31st March, then please try to make it about the ships I'm going to visit, you can of course ask questions about the ships on the trip as soon as the the thread opens, and I will be closing the April thread on the 7th, the day before I leave for the USA.
TL:DR - Get your March questions in by the 20th, get your April questions in by the 7th, if the latter are about ships on the tour, I'll try and answer them aboard that ship!
1st of the Month 5 minute guide - This will continue as normal since the first Saturday in May is the 7th.
Wednesday video selections and votes - This is the tricky one, I can't make Wednesday videos whilst I'm in the USA as I won't have my PC or library. I have instead prepared all of April's content ahead of time. Since you'll be missing out on the selections for that month, I will be altering the polls in the following months so you still get a 12 votes a year, just delayed slightly. Thus, the poll for the Special Video Subject this month will be multiple choice (please try and limit your selections to two) and I will then make the top two selections in May, along with the selected Deep Dive Video. There will not be any video selection polls in April for obvious reasons, but in the end of May poll, the Deep Dive Video poll will be multiple choice as per the above and I'll make the top two selections there as well as the regular Special Video Subject.
TL:DR - I'm moving the 2 Wednesday video selections from April, with one each going to May and June respectively.
The only video that MIGHT be delayed slightly is the April Patreon Drydock at the end of the month, as getting this up is contingent on having good enough internet access in the USA to upload it in the last week of the trip. For similar reasons the Patreon Livestream may be delayed until I return.

BTW, watch your head getting in and out of the aft turret on USS Massachusetts. You'll have to duckwalk under the ass end of the turret to climb into and out of the hatch to the gun house. Don't stand up too soon.
