The Future of Eat the Dungeon, Game 2, and the Patreon v2

There will be no Game 2, sorry!

I had like a whole huge emotional episode earlier this week and realized I actually really hate working on video games! Which is wild because that's been my whole career for over a decade now. But that's life. Sometimes you accrue an obscene amount of financial debt to go to college and learn a skill and spend years of your life ignoring personal relationships and your health and all other desires to try to build a living out of it and it turns out you hate it and you're only kind of okay at it. Whoops!

But! I still want to make stuff. I still want to do a long form project. For years I've been kicking around comic project ideas that I never seriously considered because I was so busy with my day job and Eat the Dungeon. I opened commissions again recently and it made me realize how much I love doing art.

So I hope it's acceptable to you that I replace Game 2 with this new comic project and new art. Later today I will post my comic ideas doc for patrons to see and comment on. At some point I'll pick my 3 favorites and hold a vote. The comic will be available to all but patrons will get early access. I also want to start doing art polls for patron exclusive art.

I will still finish and release the desktop version of Eat the Dungeon. I don't have a timeline for it yet but I want it done sooner rather than later. I will finish it prior to posting pages this new comic project.

I am sorry for this sudden change in direction! Thank you for being patient with me. And if you're upset with me, at least know that I'm upset with me too lol.
