This was as far as I got planning the afterlife gambling pitch. The idea was that a bunch of dead characters had a shot at being revived if they won a game involving weight gain.
On the left is the POV character, an athletic competitive type. At the middle is the main character, a contestant who's more interested in the weight gain aspect of the contest than anything. Left is the Goddess of Bounty, who would run the whole game.
