Yeahhhhh when I saw that him running out of time on his daily quest at that exact moment saved him I was a pretty disappointed. And it was right in the middle of a huge emotional climax too! Baling him out like that takes so much weight away from the moment. Like that's some serious 'deus ex machina' level bailout.... And now instead of dying, he gets a crazy amount of extra points for his job change quest and gets literally the most powerful job in existence.... as far as meaningful storytelling goes this is by far the biggest slip up in the entire series in my opinion, they do everything else so well it's a bit of a letdown but oh well

2024-03-31 00:35:18 +0000 UTCThe 4 hours he spent in the penalty quest also counted as time spent in the job quest bonus round that's why his total time was over 4 hours and where he racked up bonus points. Looks like the ant had wings and if that's so the ants could fly off the island and attack the mainland.
