Honestly, when Kiyo heard Ryuen say he doesn't feel fear, it is one of the most expressive moments we have seen from him in the anime. You can actually tell by the look in his eyes that it piqued his interest. Because of his upbringing, Kiyo has not had many experiences in life. Curiosity is one of his main character traits. He heard Ryuen give his little speech about fear and wanted to both test it for himself and then test if Ryuen truly couldn't feel fear. Probably the most well-done moment in this season for me.
