Are these teasers for a Wednesday Special on Gibraltar, or just ‘momentary’ escapes during a romantic weekend away with Lady Drach??

Damn! Here I am all excited about being invited to a local automotive museum to shoot a video, and here you are going to Vasa, Gibraltar, Victory... Inspiring! I'll get there...

Apropos of nothing, I have an idea for a unlikely series that would be really powerful if presented in this unlikely order. It would start with the story of the naval aspect of the loss of the Philippines and East Indies by the Allies at the beginning of WW2 probably ending with the sinking of the USS Langley. Then it would go directly to the Allied reconquest of the Philippines in 1944 -- again, just the naval aspect. This would show the lessons learned during the war but it would most dramatically show the huge (disproportionate) disadvantage of a weaker force.
*Tries to tie this in with the Gibraltar video* And you could end it with a visit to Corregidor!
Sorry if I've suggested this before.
