I came across something called The Battle of May Island. This might need an SPN.

Kimmell had no authority to disperse Army planes. Sure unload the main magazines. But the Navy had PBYs, so I'd send off patrols north of the island. Sure, alert the radar crew as suggested. Alert any nearby US aircraft carrier, to return to base ASAP but aim to hold northwest of the island, and be prepared to launch planes. Prepare anti aircraft batteries is a great idea. Put naval base on full alert and have all personal at their ready stations. Kimmell couldn't prevent the attack but with 24 hours notice, he could prepare for the attack.

I put on the stream and listened while I was working on something, but I can see how that would get annoying quickly. If not that then something else, I can see how sitting watching would get very annoying very quickly, although I also found it amusing when he was going on about something and interrupted the explanation with "shit, torpedoes" or some variation thereof. I dont remember exactly when but got a chuckle out of it none the less.

FEEDBACK: Idea for visual entertainment on the livestream as a Patreon perk, have Patreon supporters who play World of Warships and a twitch channel record an hour of play, and use the rerun as the background leaving you to focus on answering discord questions.

When were steam catapults developed, I think by the RN?

Savoe island:The US navy and other navies learned more from a defeat than a victory which in a longer view accelerated the design and technology adoption in the newer ships. A failure is a better opportunity for learning quickly than a defeat - the one thing about the US navy is they learn quick.

Get all the aircraft dispersed instead of in neat rows.
