February Tier Updates, Overhauls, & New Tier

Hey everyone, February will mark the official first anniversary of my Patreon! First off, a massive thank you to those who have been with me since the beginning as I figure stuff out. Things that worked for me and things that didn't. Second, thank you to those who are here regardless. With some help and consultation, I decided to update the tiers (mainly the commission tiers) and add a new one.

For the last 3-4ish months now, I've been flirting with being burnt out. Long hours just about every day to consistently deliver on quality for my artwork be it for Patreon or outside commissions. That's why I feel it's important I make these changes to help me streamline my workload and perhaps give myself my time to do my own art projects and definitely more time with my wife. Below are the following changes and updates:

--Commission tier updates -- (No changes in the EX-tier)

The commission tiers: BT, PR, FL, and DX, will be exclusively bi-monthly commission tiers. E.g., the first month will be the structuring and concept sketch phases and the following month will be lining, coloring, and finishing phases. If a Patron cannot commit to the following month to finish their commission, I will always have it on pause and saved until they're ready to resume. An option that I practice regularly with commissions outside of Patreon. A "Pay as you go" method. 

Even with both month's prices combined there is still a 5-20% discount on these pieces. A 40-60% discount is just not sustainable for me, especially with the amount of detail and effort I pour into every piece. And as always you can always pay extra to take on more variants and alts.

--A new tier--

Starting the 30th of this month, I'll open up the new tier, OO a.k.a. "One Off" tier. It's a $20 tier and should only be considered if you love my work, would like to support me at an increased level, and plan on sticking around for a long while. This tier will only have 12 slots and will rotate monthly for requested one off pieces, both the damsel and the method of binding. Meaning the general polls will only grant the 1st and 2nd place winners exclusives.

The slot availabilities are first come first serve and will start off with Patron seniority. If you've been with me the longest, you'll get the first crack at the requested piece for February. And the rotation will go down in seniority until it cycles, or we get new people in the mix. If there's only one person in there, then I guess they call the one-off shots until someone else comes in, etc. 

Patrons of the OO tier will also have access to extra voting gated specifically for them to continue to boost whoever they would like in the general polls. This method is to remedy overcrowded fan favorites.

--Winning damsels and their 6-month cool down--

I'm putting a 6-month cooldown on winning damsels to prevent the same character to be drawn repeatedly. If you really need to see one character drawn over and over, that's what my commission list is for, lol. Of course, people can continue to nominate their damsel of choice, this exception only applies to winners and one-off requests.

These are the changes coming in the new month. I know I'll lose some people over it, but I need to:

1: Incentivize non-Patreon commissions.

2: Stagger my workload to give myself some days off.

3: Avoid burn out. 

Well, I'm personally excited to implement these changes. I feel it will bring in more of a hands-on and community approach to the content I produce here.
