Episode 27 - Project File

Episode 27 takes us to the process of exporting the game to a running application. This is the link to the final state of the project, ready to be exported, minus the unreleasable assets such as Stella, and the paid shaders.

Simply replace with your own assets and everything will work as normal.

Episode 25 Scripts

In episode 25, we setup the rest of the config menu and get our main menu up and running! At this point we can start a new game or load an existing save directly from the main menu. And we can also configure game settings from the menus now including volumes, text speed, resolution and more. It's all coming together now!

Episode 20 Bug Fix

As was pointed out to me, there was a bug in the choice system where if you ended your dialogue file at the end of a choice encapsulator with nothing else after the choice, you would get an indexing error.


That has been fixed and the resolution is posted in Episode 20 part 5!

Episode 16 - Resources

Episode 16 has just been released. In this episode we take care of a number of things. 

#1 - Adding a prompt to the end of dialogue to show us when to advance

#2 - Customizing character font sizes and making this configurable for a future settings menu

#3 - Taking control of the dialogue box visibility to hide it if we don't need it

Refined Text Architect System

Good morning, Patrons! Here is an update to the Text Architect System for anyone that would like to use it. This splits up the building logic into different classes that the Text Architect references.

What this does is clean up the code - and make it easier to expand upon the system by creating new building methods.

Live2D Character Note

Hey everyone, as Live2D Characters have been created now, there are a few people that had an issue with them showing up right on their screens. This was due to not having the RectTransform bounds and anchors setup on their Live2D Characters.
