Added 2018-06-01 03:51:13 +0000 UTCMy apologies for no updates this month. I've been busy figuring out how to eat right and exercising. I've been under weight for most of my life. I've gained about 5 lbs. doing calisthenics, lifting weights, running and eating in quality excess. I feel great. I feel shitty about not updating but I also needed a break. I should have said something. I procrastinate. It's another habit to work on. I've also been working on some personal work to clear my head. Now the next step is balancing the work output from March with this new understanding of how to properly take care of my body. Because there weren't any updates this month I'm putting up two polls next month for 5$ patrons. The first will be a general pinup idea that I'll do for free to make up for my poor performance this month. The poll will go up after the high quality pic is up.

I'm an artist too, I get that you feel less productive if you don't show anything in a certain amount of time, specially in the internet.

2018-06-01 20:34:51 +0000 UTCAs someone who used to do a weekly update for his own Patreon, it quickly becomes pointless/tiresome to update when there hasn't been any progress. In your mind you might be thinking "well there might be some sketches to show or something" but in practice, it's not much fun to show unfinished, unpolished work. Art doesn't get gradually done over four weeks, either - when you get locked in it gets done quickly, if you're not into it, it doesn't get done at all. Now I just update when I have some relevant information to share.

If you don't give us anything, we aren't charged anything. I've dropped other Patreons that just charged a flat monthly rate and then put out nothing.

This is what Akabur does, and it does feel nice to see at least a glimpse of what you're doing. Just a recommendation, Pit, I personally don't care much about your update schedule, you do what you do, but some people do. This piece is very cool. Good work.
