Patreon Membership Nonsense

The proposed changes I heard about last year were all caused by Apple's billing policy in their app store. Now it seems I don't have to change anything since there's been litigation that ended with a ruling against Apple. Monthly subscription migration is not necessary for Patreon creators in 2025.

Patreon Membership & Tier Changes

I'm going to start the process of moving over from the paid post model to the monthly flat rate model. I believe Patreon is doing away with the pay per post model. In doing so I'm having to square away the different tiers, which currently only serve as a "pay what you want" model where everyone could pay a dollar for every post I charge for but a lot of you are willing to give more, and I'm eternally grateful for that generosity.

There will still be three tiers once this page is updated...

I'll be getting back into Deep In The Red in September. I had a lot of stuff I wanted to do outdoors before the summer was over and I made sure to enjoy my time away from the computer. But now it's time to hunker down and try to finish the comic before the end of the year.
