I don't know what others think, but personally, I think Shiro should at the very least try and renegotiate with the Crusade. She can make 100x her monthly salary by selling a single bike. She's also always low on time and complaining about it and Crusade stuff always takes a while. I don't think she should completely break off the relationship, but she should at least work as a private contractor, kind of like they want for Nightshade. The stuff about the Mother is fair, but them losing some armor shouldn't be any of her concern. It would be fine if they asked it as a favor among friends or paid her 6 figures to investigate, but paying her a couple thousand Rayn is borderline insulting imo. There is no way they cant get someone else to figure it out. If Athena or C-dog called her up and asked her to do a 1 week job for 1500 Rayn she'd laugh in their face and refuse. I think her relationship with the Jade gang is a lot healthier. I get that extricating herself from the Crusade is a bit thorny, but thr current Crusade situation feels like it's a liability if anything at this point. Edit: I guess it's also a recent development that she's really taking off and they also helped her find Mira, but the point stands. I think she should try and renegotiate at some point. Edit2: Not trying to be a downer. Love the story btw.

It makes perfect sense to try to cause trouble under Ligh's leadership cause whomever knows him or looked into him knows hes a problem. So why not cause trouble that can lead to cascading effects that still leave the crusade intact but leads up Ligh being moved off the board
