104) Cham vs The Craven-King

Cham is finally getting his way and facing off against the Craven-King but he's gotten way more than he bargained for!

This was one of the biggest shots I had to tackle for TWOM. Lots of different moving parts, timing and expressions to get right and it took like 2months to pin down but I'm really happy with how it looks at this point!

103) Eden, the Prophetic Lilin - The World of TWOM

Christina Gardener delivered some concepts for another Lilin character, this time a beautiful, cunning villain named Eden. Im not quite sure what his motivations are as of yet but Im thinking he acts as a sort of guiding minister for the Lilin, officiating their communions (promises to remain loyal to their partners) after they have completed their journeys with their chosen partners. I know that's a normal thing to say about one's own OC but I really think she's an adorable person and Im spining with glee at newcomer BeautySnake's rough animation of her I've been focusing mainly on getting Pai out there in front of the public more but its not often I show her flirtatious side. 100) Big Trouble Stomps Forward!

Cham, Pai and Razz are taking cover from the Craven-King after a go-for-broke assault! Rosa threw this together rather well and I love how she got timing down on Cham's breathing. This scene happens after a pivotal moment in the film and I cant wait to show you all the full thing one day!

99) Pai's Flyin (Rough Animation)

Pai is having some deep thoughts but she isnt quite paying attention to whats happening to her broom either. What's on the young witch's mind?

97) THE BEAK-BUSTER ATTACK

The Craven-King was hit pretty hard but Cham and Pai better watch out! The big-guy is on the offensive!

Another shot by me in Rough Animator! Im learning that its more important to move create some extra wiggle room on my canvas so I have more space for characters, This is a VERY intense shot and the Craven-King is an exercise in keeping all his details and moving parts together.

I gotta move to clean-up on this brute but I also need to find a way to move the camera in Compositing...

96) THE BIGGEST BOY

The Craven-King has been summoned and he has had enough of your shit and he is on a rampage!  I did this one myself as I tested out the iPad's animation capabilities. I used a program called Rough Animator and I think it does a better job than Procreate: Dreams, admittedly.

92) Pai Fall

Its September and we have a new rough animation by animator Kati Knitt! Pai has been thrown violently to the ground by something and whatever it was is pretty strong!

Kati had the great idea to crack the as she crashed and it was worrh keeping since it sold the impact a bit more. This shot will be in the upcoming trailer, colored and tied-down for Pai's final design.

91) The Sky of the Starcrossed Losers

This wonderful background shot was made by Justinas Viktus. It comes towards the later half of the film when Pai and Cham have their little moment when they see each other as equals.

Its probably one of the most peaceful but expansive shots I wanted to hone in on. I personally LOVE celestial art, anything having to do with space and the unknown. Christina Gardner has been busy with a large request for getting the Lilin finalized. Overall the general design of this other race of Lorefolk is pretty locked down and Im VERY pelased with it. So pleased in fact that I believe this specific design will be a recurring character. Im really in love with how B and E look so keep an eye on this particular character in the future!

Happy August, everyone! The film's villain is finally here! The Craven-King now has a reference sheet for our animators w/ LadyGValentine coming through again with our sweet gigantic boy who can do no wrong! I personally cant wait to begin animating this guy.
