I didn't participate in the poll, but the impression I got is that potentially Mira would form up a squad with Iris, Saint, and Luna, with Shiro providing them tech and occasionally being roped in as needed for some jobs.

2026-01-22 04:00:31 +0000 UTCThat's a shame, I really liked seeing Shiro start to build up a crew. It felt like a natural progression of her growth. I'll miss Shiro and Mira interactions. They were my favorite, seeing them gave Dirty Pair/Gunsmith Cats vibes.

2025-12-23 02:17:15 +0000 UTCMira is a good partner to have at your side. Loyal and reliable. She also isn't intimidated by Shiro, unlike others. Her agency plan complements Shiro's Speakeasy and she's a valuable member of the squad, whenever they go out into the field together. Shiro still has a lot of stuff that she will have to do solo, like her cat burglar career. I think once Mira has her own place to live, she's not going to be as present in the story as she was during the last arc. Speaking of own place to live... Shiro should look into moving out of the Crusade apartment once she can afford something secure. Yet another point in favor of Mira's idea of buying the entire apartment block.

2025-12-23 00:06:57 +0000 UTCIt’s not actually turning her dumber. That was just a joke. The idea with the Fox form isn’t mind controlling/influencing her as much as it’s making latent issues worse. I might need to go back and rewrite some stuff to make that clearer. The stuttering isn’t new though. She’s always been nervous and paranoid. It’s been a while since she stopped, but remember she’s a small fox in this scene next to a massive human.

Stuff like her personality/character changing due to some external factor, like a magic hoodie that shapeshifts her in to a fox. Just seems to be the direction its going, what with her being incapable of sitting still, or not understanding that electricity has a current despite being mostly tech focused. Or repeatedly stuttering, for some godforsaken reason. Just one of my least favorite tropes, regardless of the specific form it takes. Beserker rage for a couple chapters? Love potion? Cursed amulet? Psychic alien? Vampire glamour? Vulpes polymorph? Not a fan. Not that i think you'd write it badly, just getting out ahead so im on record as hating it.
