The last portion I stopped feeling so much as it was Miss Thariya's PoV due to the added info she wouldn't have. Felt more like an Omniscient view from someone like a Star. Very fun regardless to get a peek at the mischief they had planned from a corpa standpoint. Also "synched another long term contract" --- I believe the term intended was 'cinched' as in secured, rather than synchronized. I'm barely holding back on gushing over Aylin's various weapon skills, and her steadily improving combat ability/synergizing of skills/tools. She must've been a real monster at her full strength. Likely much to her dismay I believe Stark Shadow might end up her "Rival"

2025-08-09 19:23:46 +0000 UTCAlso, I can absolutely see her becoming a sort of (arch)nemesis for Stark Shadow, appearing at crucial points in his carreer (as decided by the advertising company/company behind him) and propelling him upwards. It happened once already, at the museum, back when he just started out and she was a nameless henchman to a low-rank Anarch. Now again when he made it to D-rank, debuting herself as an Anarch properly for the first time and causing his ressurection into a swordsman. Both events apparently set up for advertising him. She gets to have fun and gets paid for it, he gets to improve to better protect the city, and the companies make profit. Everyone wins.
