Master Oberon Surewinter and Lurathil Frostrune

lol more dnd art, i have been feeling really inspired when it comes to elven stuff so i did some reading and did a lil story steeped in dnd lore. ow o

These two are high elves from a northern kingdom known as The Kingdom of Glass where they are masters of both ice magic and bladesinging.

Oberon (the larger elf) is a Master Bladesinger wise beyond his years with the experience of numerous human lifetimes in both combat and the arcane. Like most elves, his emotions are subdued but in him likes a passion and curiosity that can lead him to taking risk most other elves would not. He is a widower, having lost his wife 200 years ago when The City of Glass came under attack from a rogue tribe of Frost Giants. Oberon has done his best to deal with the grief of his lost wife, but not matter how much time has passed he still can not shake the pain of her loss.

Lurathil (short one) is an orphaned elf who was found abandoned at the gates of the city by one of the guard patrols, horrified at the prospect someone abandoning their child he was immediately taken in. He was raised within the Arcane Academy located within the city, communally raised by a number of different teacher's and staff along side a handful of other orphaned elves. He would go on to show a talent for Bladesinging and to be taken under Master Oberon's wing, forming a close relationship with the master becoming like a father to him. However unknown to either of them, Lurathil is in fact the reincarnation of Oberon's wife.

i really liked the idea for this story and enjoyed designing the characters so i figured i would share uw u
