You know how there are ghost towns, that have one or two caretakers? What if a meaty's appears in there and needs to put more effort into luring in travelers?, maybe with otherworldly commercials that appear sometimes on TV and radio and hypnotize people to come in, or maybe invited by hypnotized caretakers, that also see a chance to revive the town? In this case the monster is like a "public relations" mimic, that does a better job at pretending to be human and emulates a personality. But I also imagine, what would it look like if the meaty's tried with only the few caretakers? How much can it twist and deform them if it can only use them and the wildlife? ------------------------------------------------ This and a few other Meaty's requests hit the jackpot. I drew up some concepts, but then realized that a few old school ones never got proper bestiary entries afterward and so I had to add more and in the end, there will be a few Meaty's bestiary entries over the next few days! ------------------------------------------------ Though we’ve covered situations in which a Beef Seed is planted in some way by the heralds of the fleshmother in a populated location, transforming into a restaurant in modern days and luring in prey, there are certainly situations in which one has landed or been planted in the wilderness, or in the location of a long abandoned town or place. In such circumstances, just like with  populated region, a Meaty’s Burger Child restaurant will arise and begin putting out signals on local television for employees, it will begin wafting the scent of delicious food around itself for miles, and they will wait for their victims to appear. If this does not work, they will use the flesh of the location, to deploy Mascots first, These mascots will travel several miles around the location, attempting to find humans and offer them balloons and invite them back to the base, or if they refuse, to forcefully take them back to the restaurant. They are also likely to release their Throat Loaf to track down individuals in the night and feed them giving them a craving for the flesh and allowing their pheromones to lead others to them. There is a possibility they may reach out to a Bloat Witch, and attempt to use her as a sort of matriarch of the location, but Bloat witches are rare. They may also produce a Burgerchef, a specialized kind of Burger Child, which often times works as a kind of mascot to help larger businesses, but can appear when business is severely lacking as well. If there are no humans in the area for miles however, after several days, it will begin opening the doors, and leaving the ambrosia and meat in trashcans and at tables and on the floor within the establishment, allowing any animals to enter following the scent. Birds, dogs, deer, bears, cats, rats, and other various animals will be attracted to the scent, and like with humans, they will become addicted to consuming the flesh, and they will begin gorging on the offerings left to them. The flesh and ambrosia of the meat mother can affect all organic beasts, driving them toward gluttony and violence, and causing them to balloon in weight, stuffing themselves into immobility until the worms within them eventually burst free from their confines. Like with all Gutworms, they tend to take on qualities of the creature they incubated within, and as such they may take on more lupine, ursine, or avian features when consumed by dogs, wolves, bears, or birds, and just like with Gutworms, some of them instead bind with the innards of these creatures in such ways that allow them to take full control of the bodies of the creature and become one with it, using the body as a puppet of sorts. In the case of dogs, coyotes, wolves, and other similar creatures, they become Gut Hounds, they often remain hidden within the hide of the hound, and use the transformed intestines and organs as tentacles, keeping the true face of the gutworm within the throat or anus of the hound and only emerging when it wishes to attack or intimidate creatures. It uses it’s long tail and intestines to grow barbs and spikes to attack, and often commands packs of other infected hounds to attack. Some will send these hounds out in search of humans and other creatures to drag back to the restaurant to transform into flesh mothers to further propagate the species. Sometimes whenever they burst free and create a burger child, it takes on a much stranger, and lupine form, becoming a Burgerpup. Birds become Gut Birds, and  will become unable to fly, and many times will be eaten by cats or other carnivores due to their massive, protein filled bodies, and the worm will then transfer to them. Those who fully undergo the process however will often times erupt into writhing, beaked monstrosities with brittle hollow bones and long appendages with talons and feathers littering them. Most are unable to fly, though some are able to glide or tumble through the air with crooked wings to descend upon their prey. Many times, baby birds fed the flesh by their mothers are the ones who grow to full size, consuming their parents and siblings and falling from their nest to go in search of more flesh. These Gut Birds are just as deadly as other Gutworms, but tend to be smaller. Other similar creatures will grow from the flesh of the beasts and they will slowly begin to spread into the nearby wilderness, seeking civilization to bring back to their restaurant. With the food being laid about, and the number of creatures bursting, it’s sure to attract insects like roaches and flies to the location. Insects that feed on the infected flesh begin to transform into hideous abominations. Though they will not grow fat as other creatures do, They may begin to possess a bloated, stuffed abdomen. Insects are chitinous creatures, and as such they do not meld with the flesh like others do, meaning that the beefy creatures do not interact with them in the same way. They grow larger, and their features more intense, in a similar way to mutation caused by Necromancy, with such insects reaching the size of a small dog over time, and in the case of flies, they get even larger. Flies that gorge on the flesh will begin to grow, and become violent and much more dangerous, swarming still living creatures and tearing into their flesh, leaving disease in their wake as they mutate into Bloat Flies.  These flies eventually sprout additional wings, and they lose the power of flight altogether due to how massive they grow, with most of them becoming immobilized, bloated human sized creatures, spewing out massive humanoid maggots from their ovipositor. The flies put out a scent similar to that of the food of burger child, thus attracting people to it’s scent. These people will surround the fly and it will use it’s long trunk like nose to spray them with digestive juices, melting their flesh and allowing the fly to slurp them up and leave their slowly dying bodies as food for the maggots. When these flies burst, they do so into hundreds of these kitten sized maggots that then feast on the body and grow. Unlike with a normal maggot, those birthed by a Bloatfly do not grow into bloatflies themselves, but have grown into a completely separate creature unable to breed. A Fleshmaggot grows into a  human sized maggot like creature, malformed and with a haunting face and twisted limbs. They are infertile, and simply live with an insect like mindset to feed itself. They will often bring food to the flies that birthed them, knowing that constant consumption allows for the Bloat Fly to birth more of their kind into existence. It isn’t uncommon for them to eat their own young, or even the Bloat flies that birthed them. These creatures are nearly mindless, solely shambling around looking for food and consuming. They can arrive in mass quantities due to the Bloat Flies, and have territorial disputes with other creatures mutated by contact with Meaty’s such as cockroaches. They also consume burger children and other thralls of the fleshmother, leading them to be a remaining issue as the birthing cycle does not work properly on such insects.
