FULL WATCHALONG: Dogma (1999)

When I posted my Galaxy Quest reaction, many people in the community recommended that I watch Dogma if I wanted another comedic Alan Rickman role.
I'm familiar with some Kevin Smith movies (I've seen Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) but for some reason I never watched Dogma before and I didn't even know what it was about!
If you want to watch along, the movie is not streaming anywhere so you need a physical copy. Or alternatively... I've heard that if you search YouTube for the word "Dogma" you might find some interesting videos. But no way would I ever encourage piracy!

That was fun! I haven't watched this since I saw it in the theater. I remember many religious groups protesting, before the film was even released, which had the usual effect of free publicity. The irony of protesting a movie that they hadn't seen lol Despite the satirical storytelling, Kevin Smith clearly believes in God, and is actually very thoughtful. (Not to mention hilarious) Hard to chose my favorite Kevin Smith movie, but this one is right up there!! Thanks Jorge for the suggestion, and Cristy for the great reaction!!
