Thanks for this comment! haha yes, I now remember you didn't read my mind about the PO Box, we did talk about it! 12 Monkeys is indeed in the viewing schedule for March! One note about the schedule of posted videos vs. watchalongs. A movie winning the poll doesn't necessarily mean that I will post the edited video the following month. It means I will (unless something unusual happens!) post the watchalong version the following month. Editing is a long process and sometimes editors have to take time off, or are sick, or get busy with toher videos, or something happens. For instance, the editor who is working on The Dark Knight (Meli) had a really long and complicated video to finish before it (The Two Towers) -- she was picked for doing The Dark Knight because we thought her editing style would be a better fit for it. Meanwhile, the same editor who made the Airplane video was more available, and since her style worked very well with comedy we asked her to work on The Naked Gun, which is also a much shorter film. Therefore it was ready first. There's a lot that goes into when a video is posted on YouTube and unfortunately I can't always guarantee that it will be ready within a certain month. We'll always do the best we can though. Now that Meli is finished with The Two Towers she has assured me The Dark Knight video will be ready next week, so you'll get it soon!

Alright! A new episode of CCC! As usual, I'll grab a soda from the fridge and sit back to watch so I can give my thoughts. Ohhhhhhh yes. Getting older can be rough. For instance, it surprised me when I realized a few years ago that if I have to squat down for some reason, and then get back up, my knees make a bad cracking sound. And not just once in a while... every time! My friends are like, "What the hell, man?!?" Thank goodness that I at least still have my boyish good looks, lol. Jorge, you're going to be making your debut appearance on the YouTube channel for Cristy's final Sopranos episode? That will definitely be cool! I think Sopranos fans will be interested to hear what someone who's really into the show thinks about the finale, and the series in general. I also think that it's a good idea that after Cristy finishes watching the episode, that she gives her feedback and opinion first, before she hears anybody else's input. Like a lot of other Cristy's Crew members, I'm also anxious to hear if any other TV series will be taking its place on the channel, and if so, what it will be. I guess we'll find out soon! Cristy, I can understand how you might have felt awkward, or silly, or any number of other things during the livestreams that you've had, but as Jorge said... they way that yours have gone is pretty standard for anybody else's livestream. It just a drawback of the way livestreams work, that you're trying to answer a question that you just saw on your screen, and while your answering it, three more question pop up - one is like a follow up to what you're talking about right then, and the other two are all new questions, and you have to try to decide which to answer. Believe me, people in livestreams know the pros and cons of how they work, and they won't be judging you badly because of it. I am sure that it must be awkward for the rare times when you have to turn down a movie request, but as was mentioned, you're a real person with feelings and sensitivities. Just like yourself, I would have a hard time watching a "sad animal" movie (the few that I did watch growing up like Ol' Yeller were enough to last me for the rest of my life). People are just going to have to accept that some movies might be more difficult for you to watch than others, and they should be accepting when you decline. If you want to give them a reason, that may help them understand, but of course you don't even have to do that much. There are thousands and thousands of movies out there, and if they can't pick a different one, that's on them. Like Jorge said - you shouldn't dismiss a movie or assume that it's not very good just because you've heard nothing-to-little about it, or think that it's not very publicly known. I think that you might be surprised at how many people out there have some favorite movies that not many other people have heard of. I know of very people who had ever seen Miracle Mile, for instance, but it's such a suspenseful and well-acted movie, I was sure that you would like. (I hope you did!) In fact, to my mind, based on the plot of the movie and the fact that so few people have seen it, I think that it's pretty perfect for movie reactors. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is- try to keep an open mind! There are so many hidden gems out there! If someone is recommending a particular movie to you, you can be sure they have a good reason! So, you're open to some suggestions for Cristy's Classics, eh? Challange accepted! Looking at movies made from before 1980, I would recommend- Citizen Kane North by Northwest It's a Wonderful Life Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory The Thing From Another World There's plenty more, but I'll start with those. πŸ™‚ Thank for another great episode of CCC, Cristy and Jorge! You guys made my night. Cristy - stay sweet! ❀️

Tums Chewables cherry, my go to ( as Jorge said, things change some as you age, at 62 that and store brand equivalent of extra strength Bengay creme are two inventions I'm grateful for ). You announced ending the P.O. Box the other month in CCC. BTW when for example you say your B-day is in two weeks, that was last week when you recorded this, it's now the 10th so it's 9 days away. If that website is not only a wish-list thing, that will work. I can think of one YT reactor who had two channels ( one for movies, one for music ) that disappeared. She didn't know what happened, they were just suddenly gone. She had to create new channels, which sucks to start over again without all the subscribers. Dogma - We won't spoil it, but the casting of one particular character is fun. πŸ˜‰ Religious groups boycotting a movie is like free publicity, it gets a movie more media attention. No superhero training - there's a comedy called "Kick-Ass" where a very average teen boy decides he'll be a superhero, creates a costume, and goes out trying to fight criminals. The Dark Knight, the January winner, is now behind schedule. I was surprised to see Naked Gun for example up when DK is behind. It might help to avoid continuously being behind schedule to be sure to get the monthly winner done ahead of Reactr ones. Tangent, Jorge before had said maybe Feb. for 12 Monkeys, I'm guessing with things stacked up it might get pushed to March. Tim Burton did two Batman movies which are fun ( not the same feel as Nolan's films or the Twilight kid's Batman ). The Prestige - Cockney accent, Michael Caine is also in it, who does have that accent, though it has mellowed some since he was a young man. Classics suggestions: Hitchcock's "Vertigo" ( 1958 ), Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall in "The Big Sleep" ( 1946 ) Beyond that category, several reactors have been doing a David Lynch film since his recent passing. Mulholland Drive is a great mind-bending film. CCC is always looked forward to. πŸ€—K.
