I ahted this part in the game, it was sooo hard to kill David I almost gave up the game lol, This show is next level!! The game has a separate part you can play when you finish the game where you play Ellie at the Mall with Riley. It was so cool! You can try on different masks at the Halloween store too!

The villain, David, is SO good and Ellie is amazing. This really illustrates how strong\brave Ellie actually is but how much Joel & Ellie both need each other. Also, it shows how bad Joel can be. I will always but in Joel's corner but he can be very immoral, and can be the bad guy. The allude to this earlier in the series but now we actually get to see it. If we set aside our love(and perspective) for Joel and Ellie, the guys Joel tortured and killed were just told that there is someone near their community that has already killed someone who was out trying to find supplies. Now he's come back to their community to do who knows what. I am not defending their actions but I am also not defending Joel's who was objectively wrong in torturing and killing two men. Next, it explores the morality of what you need to do to survive and support a community it clearly dire situations. Idk but overall I love this episode so much. When Joel calls Ellie baby girl(who he only used to reserve for his daughter) it breaks me every time. Some fun trivia!! David's right hand man, James, was the voice actor for Joel in the game the last of us. I am a developer in the video game industry and actually met him when he was doing voice acting for one of our games and he's seriously one of the nicest guys I met in the industry. I was so happy to see him break into more mainstream entertainment.
