I once had two coworkers who were only temps, meaning they could easily be replaced or let go. But they ate constantly at their desks, in fact they ate so much that they created so much garbage that their trash cans would start stinking. A manager walked by and nearly tripped on the trash cans they put behind them against a cubicle wall, and she asked them to keep the trash cans under their desks. They got an attitude and ignored her, partially because the smell got so bad from their vast exports of trash. And because they gave the manager attitude, they got let go and released back to the temp agency.
