Hello everyone!
Sharing some WIP in what is about to come in October and my current progress on the Patron Commission September - Vancleef.
September 29 update: I have finished the Body Blockout for Edwin and Vanessa, Canon Blockout. The Basing is almost done. Still trying to decide which pose to choose for Vanessa, I am really tempted to go with the Ballet pose (To convey a more agile and graceful nature). I think some Barrels would look cool on the Base but... there is almost no space left, maybe a small gunpowder barrel in the front. Sizes: 60mm round base, Edwin and Vanessa 32mm scale (Her being slightly smaller) with 25.4mm base. The cannon will come unattached to the base so you can use/sell separately but, un-based.
September 30 update: Finished Vanessa Blockout. The hardest part was to make her shoulder... I don't think it will show on 32mm miniature but they are there, if anyone wishes for a little bigger model to paint, I think it will look cool. Going for Edwin Blockout now.
October 01 Update: Changed the thickness of cloths so that she looked less Chubby, Finished detailing Vanessa, and done the weapons. I will now be posing her and doing the final sculpting. Her hands will be ball joint socket compatible left and right, even though I imagine her ready to cast fan of knives, yours won't need to be.
October 02 Update: Finished Posing and adding final sculpt to Vanessa, in the end, I went for a different pose from one of the 3 planned, and even though my initial plans were to place throwing daggers on her right hand, after messing around with the model I will print mine like the gray one (reverse dagger in Right hand and throwing on the left). I will soon be adding her to Early access if you wish to print her before the whole set. Now let's do some noise (Canons).
October 06 Update: Finished Edwin miniature. Now I'm working on Advertising material to add to Instagram (The less favorite part of the work). They should be available soon (After my test print is ok).
That's it for today. I will upload more pictures in this post as I move forward. Tell me what you think in the comments below.
Best Regards,
Ivo
