Backgrounds. So Many Backgrounds.

We’re now up to 140-ish backgrounds in Sinners Landing and yes, that includes time-of-day variations.

Some of these you’ve already seen in-game. Some are tied to locations that haven’t shown up yet. A few belong to characters you haven’t met, and at least one or two are places you probably shouldn’t be allowed into. Yet.

It’s a big, messy, broken world full of temples, taverns, ruined basements, sketchy bedrooms, and weird magical shit, and we’ve been building all of it.

Some backgrounds are still waiting for their story moment to hit. Others are hiding spoilers. But they’re real, they’re in the engine and pipeline, and honestly, we’re pretty damn proud of them.
