Progress Update #9: Aug 14, 2021

So - it's been a big week - lots of stuff got done.... 12 days until next update!

The big change this week is it its starting to feel less terrible and horrible keeping up with the monthly updates. Up till now, there was a certain panic about the amount of content we were slamming into the game at any given month. This month, it feels a bit more like we're getting a bit ahead of the schedule, and we can be less... freaked out. 

Most importantly, all of the sex scenes for the month have completed art and most of the animation. They need to be added to the game and puppeteered, but we at least have them done. More importantly, Chase has finished all of the script that goes around them, so they are being built now. The first one (Olga) is already in and working - you can play it in the beta. The next 2 are part of a long sequence with Reyna and some other folks, and is being puppeteered as we speak. Hopefully we'll have that up and ready to play by mid-next week. 

There's still a good bit of writing to do - mostly around building out the main story further and the Pool scenes. But that's what Chase is up to over the weekend, and hopefully most of that will be done by Monday. That leaves a bunch of subgames, puppeteering, and other assorted odds and ends for next week. Hopefully by the end of the week Chase can get on to planning the September update while the rest of the team cleans up and finalized August!

Finally - it looks like our goal-setting and increased marketing has paid of a bit. Our monthly Patreon is ALMOST at the $1000 goal... and we've finally broken 200 patrons. We'll likely see a dip at the end of the month (we always do) but we're hoping we can get up above 200 patrons / $1000 and stay there after this month. It would be a super way to finish out the summer!
