So, some days I put a bit of myself into what Jack has to say...

Honestly, it is a pretty big struggle. Marketing entertainment is already a pretty big fucking headache, but when you have to fight all of the various community rules about what you can and cannot do, something as simple as posting a screencapped video of your game on Reddit or YouTube becomes a huge pain in the ass... And most of the rules are absolutely nonsensical.

And what really blows my mind is... We don't censor guns, blood, death, torture... I can go kill a thousand people with a knife, coated in blood in a Youtube video or live on Twitch... but I can't make consensual, happy, romantic love with a woman. It puts a pretty fine point on what we do or don't value in our society. And I'm pretty sick of it.

As a final irony, when writing this post, I had to go back and re-edit it because Patreon put up a message that said "We have detected language in this post that may be outside of our community guidelines (pornagraphic content). If you believe that this is not the case, you can continue to post it. The post may be reviewed by our Trust and Safety team."

Yep. That's right. My post about fighting various forms of corporate censorship was flagged and had to be censored to be allowed to be on this platform. You really can't make this shit up.
