It has been a wild ride and I hope you've enjoyed this final update. Is this the permanent end of Belle's journey? Will there ever be more? I can't say for sure; perhaps we will see Belle and co again in the future, but only time will tell.

Oh my god! I really appreciate the kind words. I worked really hard maintaining a coherent and well-paced narrative, and am glad I was able to end it at a nice number like 40. I struggled deciding upon a good end for this serial, and ultimately, I determined that a more ambiguous, potentially hopeful ending would suit the story well. There's plenty for reader interpretation-- can we trust Hesat not to be cruel? However, there's still a hope there. Fans of either type of ending can speculate and envision what they see as Belle's ultimate fate. As far as my thoughts go? I do know what Belle's fate would be if there was a theoretical chapter 41, but whether that would be a happy or bad ending, I won't say. <3

Everything ranging from character's perspectives and reasoning, down to the emotions and details delivered with fresh foreshadowing and imagery. I appreciate the ending as well, leaving hope for redemption. Truly my favorite. Kudos to the author!
