The Special Game - Update Alpha 5

A new update! This adds the start of another chapter in the story... the Rebirthing Center!

This is my first time picking up the story for a while so I had to re-learn all the code shortcuts and the story structures that were in my head before. For that reason there might be a few more bugs than usual. Let me know if you spot any, there'll be some kind of reward for reporting bugs that get squished!

Summer Break

Hi, 

Summer is a really hard time for me to find free time to work on personal projects such as interactive stories. Combination of taking vacation time as well as family commitments during the long school breaks. 

With that in mind, I'm going to pause Patreon billing for a month as I've not been able to find time to update the Special Game story. Hopefully I'll be able to resume in September, once things quiet down!

Special Game - Update Alpha 4

It's update day! Here's a new update to the story.  I hope you have fun with it.

New in this version:

• Lots of formatting changes and new effects.
• A working save game feature, with manual and auto-saves.
• A "free will" option early in the game. Turning it off makes the game more linear, but the mind control aspect is stronger as you're forced to take the "worst" option when you get a choice. Only try it if you want a real lack of control over your destin...

Free Will, Free Won’t

Messing around with an idea in the new game; an option that nearly completely removes your free will. I.e your mind control is always set to do the most humiliatingly sissy baby thing. It basically makes the story slightly more linear, but a lot more “forced” in terms of you can’t *help* being a total mincing sissy baby. It’s a toggle you choose as part of the story early on, what do you think? Will you take that option?

Outfit ideas

Hi, I'm about to write a section of the new story dealing with some outfits and costumes that you (as the reluctant baby girl) in the story have to wear. I've got some ideas for the kinds of outfits that would look good, but I'd love to get some of your favourites in there too.  So, as a patron benefit, your good costume ideas will be added to the game as one of the outfits you might just have to wear!

Messy?

I’ve had one or two queries about whether in the new story there’ll be an option to avoid messy diapers. I’d like to get a feel for if there’s a general desire for this option.

The Special Game - Alpha 3

A new work-in-progress release for tier 2 patrons. New in this version:

Behind-the-scenes

I thought I'd share this little behind-the-scenes peek at the work going in to the new story. The first screenshot is the text as it appears on the screen during the game, it's relatively straightforward. The second screenshot is the same page as it's coded in the background. As you can see, even a simple page like this has a whole load of fiddly code! It makes me tear my hair out, but it's fun when it works! 

What's in a name?

In the new story, you'll be able to choose what name your character is given. In the game you can choose whatever  name you like, and it will use simple replacement algorithm to work out the "spoken by a very little girl" version of it. "Sophie" become "Thophie" and so on. The algorithm isn't perfect at working out how to produce the right version, so  for example "Lily" becomes "Wiwy" which doesn't quite work right.

So, for each name on the list below will have a custom alter...

The Special Game - Alpha 1.1

I thought you might like to see the latest work on the story. This fleshes out the intros to the "uncle" (or is it daddy?) and "girlfriend" branches, and brings the branches back together to the first morning of "your new life". 

It might not seem hugely bigger than was there before (due to each branch being parallel) but there's actually about 40% more pages than in the first alpha I posted.

Still will be buggy and have typos and grammar errors. Please let me know if there's...

What would you like to see?

Wow, the number of people who've signed up has slightly taken me by surprise. I didn't think many people would actually value the silly things I create! 

Now that you're here, I'd love to get a feel for what you came for. Would you like more captioned pics, like the ones I put on my Tumblr? More interactive stories, like The Special Place? Or maybe more regular non-interactive short-form stories? They each have their benefits and downsides:
