(PLEASE READ, ACTION REQUIRED) - Sticker Club Relaunch

Dear Patrons,

The time has come for me to make some much-needed updates to Paper Surprise Sticker Club and my online shop; I’ll be raising prices, separating international patrons into their own tier, and adding a new tier: Sticker Kings!

Starting November 1st, the standard Paper Surprise Sticker Club tier price will be $10 ($11 for international patrons).  Two of Them will be $17 and Sticker Kings will be $22, and both of these tiers will be U.S. shipping only.  Seeing Stuff will stay at $2.

I’ve published new versions of each tier with updated prices.  *** ALL CURRENT STICKER CLUB MEMBERS MUST EITHER SWITCH TO A NEW TIER OR CANCEL THEIR MEMBERSHIP BEFORE OCTOBER 31ST ***

EDIT: To clarify, upon upgrading you will be charged the difference between what you've already paid for October (including tax) and the new tier you've selected. If you'd like to avoid paying the new price until November, I recommend cancelling and re-signing up in November (note you will miss out on the patch offer mentioned below). If you are upgrading from regular sticker club membership to Two of Them or Sticker Kings, October's stickers will be your first shipment with new benefits!

Please Note: This change does NOT affect October stickers! If you are currently a member, you’ve already been charged the original tier price and will receive October stickers as normal :)

As a thank you for opting into the new pricing this month, members who switch to one of my new tiers before October 31st will receive an extra special iron-on embroidered patch (!!!) with their November stickers!  Please note: Two of Them and Sticker King tier members will only receive one embroidered patch per envelope.  I'll be posting photos of these when they arrive later this month, but here's a mockup from my manufacturer:

On October 31st, I’ll be temporarily blocking any members remaining in the old tiers in order to avoid charging them on November 1st (unfortunately, this is the only way for me to manually remove members from billing).  I’ll be deleting the old tiers and unblocking members November 1st.  If you forget to switch tiers before the deadline, you can simply re-sign up at any point in the future (however you will miss out on the embroidered patch offer).

At the end of this month, I’ll be changing the price of sticker sheets in my online shop to $10 as well as raising prices for a few smaller items like individual vinyl stickers, buttons, and postcards. If you’ve been meaning to buy anything from my shop, now would be a great time to do it!  

As part of this relaunch/refresh, I've written an FAQ Page! It contains a lot of useful information about PSSC, and would be a useful read for members both new and old. I've also created a Missing Sticker Report Form which allows you to easily let me know if your stickers have gone missing so I can send you a replacement .

I’ve needed to make these changes for years, and please know I have not made them lightly! Tier prices have stayed the same since I began Paper Surprise Sticker Club in August of 2020.  Since then, I’ve upgraded the durability of my stickers by switching from printing and cutting at home to working with a manufacturer.  I created custom packaging and started including a surprise bonus item every month, additions I love but which can be quite expensive. Production costs have risen over the years, causing the small fraction of income I make from each pledge after taxes and fees to shrink significantly.

I’ve always been willing to invest a lot of time and money into PSSC every month because it brings me so much joy, and I often hear that it brings joy to you too! My goal is to support myself with my art in tandem with my comics career, and without this change that remains impossible even if membership were to double. I’ve worked hard to price out these new tiers so that they’re still a great deal for you while fairly compensating myself and allowing my business to grow!

Thank you for understanding, and I’m truly sorry if this ends up pricing any of you out of staying on as a member.  If you’d like to stay up to date on my work and provide support without receiving stickers, you might consider switching to the “Seeing Stuff” tier instead of cancelling altogether.  Either way, please know that I deeply appreciate your support and interest in my art and stickers! Thank you so much for being here for any length of time <3 <3 <3
