Yo!
Do you like smooth chords with a contemporary sound? Warning: these chords are best performed and enjoyed by adults with mature sensibility and taste.
Like many of the parts I teach on this page, this one uses some extensive muting technique so that we get a good variety between the chords and a percussive, shaker like style.

Chord-wise, there's a lot to unpack here. The first 2 triads I play in each phrase are Gmaj to Amin. However, both chords happen over 2 different bass notes, changing the functions of these chords.
For example, m1 (measure 1) of bass has C in the root, which makes the Gmaj sound like a Cmaj7, and the Amin sound like a C6. When these 2 chords come back in at m3, the bass in on A, making the Gmaj sound like an Amin11 and the Amin sound like an Amin.
This idea of simple triads over changing bass notes is the key to the a sophisticated and mature sound.
The very last chord in m8 is something I like to call the Prince chord. I believe it's used in the song Kiss.
