Read on if you wish to become a shred master. But enter at your own peril, this one is not easy!
Pro Tips:
- Alternate picking mandatory - one must switch between downstrokes and upstrokes to maximize efficiency and speed.
- When changing strings, the direction of your pickstroke must continue alternating. Resist the urge to 'sweep' the pick onto the next string and pick 2 strings using the same stroke direction. Down, up, down, up - always.
- During the first measure, your 1st finger must take the 13th and 14th frets, 2nd finger the 15th, 3rd finger 16th, and 4th finger 17th
- During the second measure, you must play in the 10th position for the first motif, and up to the 12th for the second. Watch the video carefully and note where my hand switches positions.
Theory Talk:
- Yeah, there's a lot of notes in this - but guess what? They're all in the A minor scale. So there's only 7 different ones - A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. How about that?
- The chords here are: A minor, F major, G major
TAB is attached as a Guitar Pro file and a PDF.
