I hope you ate your shreddies for breakfast this morning, because we're about to shred through a serious rock riff!
Pro Tips:
So, you'll probably want to brush up on your barre chords for this. The 3rd finger is going to hold down the upper 3 notes of the first and the second chords. The only difference is that the first chord has your pinky added in on the 10th fret 2nd string. These shapes then slide around to different positions on the fretboard. There's a few extra chords in here, but the bulk of them are these pinky-enhanced barre chords.
If you have the stamina, you can play this entire riff with downstrokes to make it sound tighter and to give it that extra 6% of rock.
Theory:
For all you note-nerds out there, the chords here are:
Esus4 - E - C - Dsus4 - D - E - C - D - Bm - E
Esus4 - E - C - D - G - A
All of these chords fit into an E minor scale, except for the E major. How did I do that? Well, I'm Lord Phobos and you're not, so don't even try to comprehend it.
TABs are available as a Guitar Pro file and PDF. Enjoy, my Shredi Warriors!
