Okay, with that out of the way... It seems the recent chapter might be controversial. While Grace isn't turning into a slime girl, you can probably deduce that her TF isn't a traditional mammalian or avian animal; it's something a bit more "out there" and more removed from humanity and normal TF. It's not an alien TF, but it's more alien than what I've done regarding it not being the usual TF.
I don't want to alienate (no pun intended) my readers who may have been enjoying the story so far and were recently turned off by the last chapter.
Would it need a retcon to maintain interest? Another option would be for me to give Arina more of a deuteragonist role where she gets the point of view more equally with Grace. Arina would then be getting a more traditional TF that readers would generally enjoy. That way, Arina would be more in-line with what readers expect and Grace would be getting something kind of new/different.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

How do you feel about the strange nature of Grace's TF? What would you suggest to fix it if you're not a fan?
