Update/Future of Icky

*Future of Icky- (To long don't want to read- Because of my health I will be doing updates when there is something to update. No longer doing weekly updates.)


I feel like I do an update like this too often, and hopefully it will be the last for a bit. I usually don't like to bring up my own problems, because everyone is dealing with their own shit on a daily basis. Mainly just want to bring interesting porn to you guy's over bad news.

Basically... I started doing animation because of crippling social anxiety. Felt like it was a decent job to do where interactions with others is pretty minimal. The past few years have been pretty rough in terms of stress, and declining health. Mentally, and physically. I don't want to go to deep with it, but I am having difficulty with my hormone regulation. It is out of wack, and most of my doctors over the years haven't really been helping me much.

Lately it has been hard to stay motivated, and not stress myself out when I don't have a good week of animating. I usually have one maybe two days a week where I can animate for hours on end, but most days are just staring at the screen, and getting frustrated that I'm not doing anything. I don't consider this burn out because it is like this with everything in my life.

The good news is I am hopeful for the future with my current doctors. They have found some major hormone deficiencies that can be easily corrected with the proper treatments. I'm still on the line for how we are going about treatment. Some tests are still being done before a game plan is officially made. Over the next few months though. I will be trying to push myself to exercise more, and push to be healthy again. Both mentally, and physically.

What this means for Icky Sticky though?
I have built up a really nice community, and I am beyond belief of the support I get on a weekly, and monthly basis. I've worked too hard, and dedicated the past almost three years to building up Icky Sticky. The animations, the process of learning how to make/port characters, preparing/practicing for larger projects. I feel like I am at a stage that I can truly make something interesting. You guys deserve more for what you have given me.

The problem with reaching this level is not stressing myself out, and getting my emotions in check. Something I can't do at the moment because of my current issues. So... For the foreseeable future. I am going to continue animating, but... it will probably only be on days that I can. Days I'm motivated, and can actually animate without letting my emotions take over. I usually have a day or two every week that is really good.

So moving forward. I will only be doing updates when there is something decent to look forward to. No longer stressing myself out to make sure there is something to show you guys every week. I don't want to just do a text update about how "I'm animating, and stuff is coming along" I like to show off basic loops in early stages, and so on.

If you've read this far. Thank you for your time, and consideration. Lets get into a bit of a tease for what I am working on for the rest of the month, and into next month. These loops were made in one day.

*Sith Lords Pleasure- This is a larger project I am working on. Something similar to "The Pussy Trap." The idea of the concept is a Sith Lord that is taking one of her guards to a sex palace to release some pent-up frustration. If you know what I mean. The Duchess Dakota was teased not too long ago.

This is one of the finishers loops. (I don't know why I did it first of all of the loops)

The plan is to have quite a few loops combined with camera trickery to make a longer animation. With a hefty sticky ending.

*Insatiable Alyx- I've been wanting to do something with this alien fella ever since I saw em. Finally got a good enough idea in mind to start putting them into motion. 

Alyx is going to be put into multiple positions with this alien, and I have a basic idea for a well-hung head crab fella. Probably going to cut this into two parts. Part one being the head crab, and Part two being the Vortigaunt fella. Both having sticky endings.

*Krogan's Plaything- I didn't even touch this project this week.

*That will be all for this update. I have a lot of ideas in my head that I want to bring to life. I will give proper updates on the projects when the time is right.
