We fought against them in the second clip. Death is the person arranging content creator tournaments, he plays with Dennis sometimes.
The quote was a pop culture quote, by the show and books Game of Thrones.
"What do we say to the god of death?" "Not today"
Meaning Nitro=Death
I saw his name being death, the context of their VOIPing being about dying, so I made the quick judgment to VOIP "What do we say to Nitro", because dying is what usually happens when you announce a push or peek. "Not today". The quote and overall sentiment of my VOIP couldn't be immediately guessed, people usually VOIP to trash talk, so trashtalking back in the post-game was fair game.
The first clip through water was just to give context, because my teammate mentions that in the clip with Dennis.
I just lucked out it was Dennis himself and he was streaming. You can tell from my teammate reaction; he's just talking about how I always die when I open my mic and he is unaware who those guys were until we exctracted.
I was even more lucky he actually had that fun reaction about me and my KD.
He either didn't remember my name (he saw 3 videos of mine) or if he did he's not bitter about the vids and he was just joking around the fact that I know a lot about the game but I'm still bad.
