But also she's a Dreamer as well as possibly a Greenseer. basically she has visions and she's a walking talking spoiler. if you go through all her scenes, she foretold stuff. Aemond losing an eye the night he claimed Vhagar, Rhaenys and Meleys during the coronation, the war itself during Laena's funeral. So yeah, she's not really... mentally present a lot, and when she is, it can be frustrating for her. Daemon's storyline was actually added in. In the book, it just says he goes to Harrenhal and that's it. Nothing else. So the writers created his storyline, presumably to keep having Matt Smith in the show. People complained a lot when this was airing, but honestly binge watching his storyline is so much better. A lot of the book readers aren't big fans of how different the show is from the book. but the showrunners have stated several times that this is a different version of what happened, that the book is of course from the pov of bias Maesters. Also this season was supposed to have 10 episodes, and they had the scripts all done and were beginning filming when the season was cut so episode 8 doesn't really feel like a season finale because it wasn't supposed to be but they didn't have time to make the changes.

I love that the most non magic believer go through this journey coming to realise that theres a bigger picture, other than his own ambition and it's done in a such a good emotional and personal way, with a great conclusion to his arc. Reaffirming his loyalty to Rhaenyra is done perfectly. As a book reader the prophecies and magic is the fan service I need.. Dragon dreams and old-gods magic is different but I still love Healena's tie-in even though it's a bit controversial. Her scene with Aemond after is also fantastic. Healena gotta be one of my favorite characters I NEED to see her bond with Dreamfyre I am definitely disappointed that we haven't seen that already.

2025-01-19 03:17:45 +0000 UTCNot sure but I do know Barry has watched Walking Dead, so that’s off the list. I’m hoping Stranger Things. I got into the Boys but that show became so overtly political in later seasons I couldn’t finish. TV and movies are where I go to escape politics.
