Closing out this year with another WIP! Had to redo some poses multiple times here, but man I feel like this kinda stuff is just the best showcase as to why NSFW art is so fun- A great gauge to see how well you can handle tricky interaction poses while managing angles and appeal

After posting the previous concept I immediately felt the itch to figure out how I'd do the design differently to fit the character vibe better-
New direction included;
squatter limbs, shorter neck, more dopey/friendlier looking face by being a bit bovine in vibe
- still gotta settle on the wing shape / wing style
-not sure if I want the lantern as an accessory, or if the white fire is more of an infused ability-
will continue to chip away at this inbetween work-
4 Main brushes-
Realized I can just share my brushes here- these are my 4 main photoshop brushes!
I'll make an export of my whole collection someday, but I have a lot of random stuff in there that I've never used before with the sentiment "maybe someday I'll take the time to learn how to apply these/when to apply these-" so it'd take some time to sort them all neatly to make it somewhat coherent-
But for now I can share the ones I use the most!

a little "what-if" attempt in terms of re-interpreting dnd characters as dragons-
Figured my paladin boy would be a silver one, but quite tarnished + some weird scale corruption showing up at the tips of his limbs - def want to revisit the idea and push the overall shape design to be a bit more purposeful

I keep getting surprised at the amount of adjustments needed to draw these 2 cuddling- things get tricky when both parties are wide and tall with only slight variations,, but all that means is that I should draw some more cozy poses for practice

been quite a moment since i last drew this guy, and since then I've been getting in some practice with drawing wider-set guys - gotta continue down the path of finding a good middleground between pleasant stylization and individuality - I know there's still plenty of room to push proportions further, but gotta remember that whenever things start looking a bit uncanny, that it doesn't mean it's necessarily wrong direction to go but rather that I'm still in need of strenghtening my fundamentals...

Ngl, it's interesting to try and figure out how to convey the passage of time via layout and panelling- still think I got some learning to do, especially in terms of keeping things efficient- lmao but until then I'll gladly use the extra practice to simply draw out different shot-variants and poses

I really need to just spend a day sorting my files, I'm barely able to keep track of the stuff I've posted so far and stuff I've fully forgotten in some folder somewhere- maybe I'll figure out how to use a tagging system for my files????

On the topic of Niente's preference for partners being: smart men and buff women, we quickly settled that the ideal manner for this pair-up to work, simon could just put on some make-up (he still has some ways to go to improve his reading and writing skills)
- But this all then quickly lead to the thought of using said makeup as a measurement marker.
