Also, he accidentally killed someone. Dude, accidentally or not he straight up kick started a war, why bc of a 12 yr old injury? It's like a guy with entitlement and rage issues having an riffle. Someone like him shouldn't even have a dragon or that much power.

I mean look I made some bad choices when I was young, prolly said some things I was foul for saying; but I sure don't ever remember saying to an even younger child "you will die screaming in fire like your father." That's... I get it was tense and everybody was hot, but when a "friend" pointed a gun at my face "as a joke" [/whatever], I ran outside and kept running until I was home, I didn't say "damn you just gonna point it right in my face like I do with your now deceased mother" or whatever, *and then attack him*. I let the show slide calling him whatever 'cuz that was insane he shouted that. I doubt everybody who talks bad on him knows about that specifically so I dunno what each of them refers to in any given moment thus how reasonable it is, but me personally I do think he's a little bananas up top so I just roll with it. I think he only slides past vibe checks 'cuz his brother is worse and he's bad ass so that distracts from him being a weird self involved moody loser. How out of control you got to be to be one *child* fight away from loudly proclaiming you will die screaming in fire like your father.? I may not be perfect but I think there's a degree of decency I maintain under stress that little homie is too busy licking his wounds to muster when push comes to shove. I need to answer for your eye..? Sure, as soon as you hear somebody shout something that like that at you *as a child* _and then_ feel like your life is immediately threatened, we'll see if you don't take an eye too. Like... I got bit by a dog once. ...and it was my fault, I stood too close to the door on skates reducing my mobility. I heard the dog but I love animals so I was cocky and just stood there. This kid shouts you die in fire with your father and he still wants his boo-boos kissed ABOUT THAT FIGHT so hard that this many years later he's still living out the trauma. I try not to victim blame, and I certainly don't personally condone this, but "you will die screaming in fire like your father", uuuuuuuuuhhh, there's this thing called causality-.... So now you have one eye, and I proceed thinking your temperance bears guidance

I don't wanna justify tryna kill your own brother but like.. We know why he did it. Killing 100 people outta revenge, sexually assaulting women, fathering bastards leaving them in child fighting pits and I'm supposed to dislike Aemond more cuz he looks a bit psycho? My assumption is that Aemond never told anyone that he didn't mean to kill Luke, claiming he did it deliberately but that's never explicitly brought up. Even though it's fucked we get the reason why he wanted to kill luke and why he burnt Aegon. Also I'd like to point out that Alicent just looks at Aemond and make her mind up while not asking him about anything. Just make assumptions about your son instead of talking to him that'll do the trick

He was the Last wielder of Dark Sister actually and took it with him North of the Wall to the cave Bran travels to.

I’m sure you knew that but the swords name is Blackfyre, and it kicked off the Blackfyre Rebellions when Aegon the Unworthy (Aegon the 4th, our Aegon is the 2nd) Gave Blackfyre to his bastard son Daemon Waters instead of his true heir Daeron. Then Aegon IV legitimized his bastards on his deathbed and Daemon took the name Blackfyre from the sword he wielded, and declared for the throne.
