More green screen thin ice adventuring - I really think the sound effects are what make these kind of scenes work, and it can take a long time to find the SFX that work well with thematerial in the wild, especially if you don't want to pay for it on professional websites.

I recently bought a new cellphone and I'm testing the camera capabilities. The pros are it can film in full 4K and 8K 60fps and I can use my Smartwatch to start and stop filming via Bluetooth, which saves filming time and I can cut out all the time it takes for me to get into position. The cons are I can't upload what I film straight to iMovie bc I have to upload each video to the cloud and then download it to my c0mputer, which is more time consuming.

I will continue to experiment with...

That's because I'm finding recently that creating all these videos and content is taking up a LOT of my time, and I feel I need to just take the foot off the gas pedal for a while so I can give myself more time to do other hobbies. I tried to feature the widest range of footwear I could and I left this until last, generally because I'm not a barefoot kinda guy (and I know there are a lot of ppl out there who are), I am firmly a boots guy. So this is a little departure for me.

4K: Dr Martens boots walks across dangerously thin ice!

This is my first real attempt at using thin ice cracking green screen in a video, and I think it worked out OK. There are 1 or 2 things I would do differently, like using the main vid as the background and the green screen effect in the foreground, that way I can be more versatile with the cracks appearing. I continue to experiment.

There will be more of these kinds of vids coming up, like thin ice or glass floors cracking from a great height.

I'm starting to feature red rubber boots more in these Adventures etc, cos I know they are quite popular. I purchased a cpl pairs of red Hunters too, so this will give me enough material to use for future vids.

You'll also notice the silicone hand I used had a couple fingers stretch out. I didn't realise how much I was pulling on them when filming so they ended up getting longer! I'll remember that from now on to make sure I don't stretch them out any more, or else they'll look deformed...
