After the girls started the fight, they were protecting those girls... he wasn't trying to kill him.. but if you being threatened with a rock, you can protect yourself. ..... allicent is mot innocent, she might not have outright said kill the hand and the boys father to larys, but she is complicit after. She didn't tell the king what larys did which is also treasonous.... he killed the actual father of rhaenyra children.........rhaenyra is heir, period ...and what kings and are perfect....................also otto and allicent are want to get rid of rhaenyra as heir. Going behind the kings wishes... . they definitely a not innocent

Also they had to set up the whole Laenor trap thing so i guess there was sometime between the funeral and the wedding, its just being shown right after another that it seem it all happend on one very busy weekend lol
