Otto is pressured by his older brother, the lord of Oldtown at the beginning to sway the king towards naming prince Aegon. When Viserys see’s that the stag is not the White Hart, he is relieved because he wants to believe that he made the right choice by naming Rhaenyra heir. Also we all forget how goated Lyonel Strong is🐐Great character
