It is a bit overwhelming but the show does a good job of holding the audiences hand throughout the show without being obnoxious about it. Enjoyed the reaction & think you'll really enjoy all 4 seasons of this show

2024-12-06 21:56:22 +0000 UTCI remember that scene but with bronn, you could believe that he was aware and personally knew all of the swindlers in king's landing. With the Daemon scene it definitely seemed like they were randomly accusing ppl of crimes of and punishing them in order to make everyone afraid of committing a crime. basically encouragement through fear

2024-11-29 03:07:42 +0000 UTCI always have to mention this about Daemon's criminal roundup because he always gets hate about it from reactors. Bron did the same thing right before the battle on the Blackwater. It just wasn't shown on screen. There is a scene when it is mentioned though. Tyrion and Varys were discussing battle plans and there was the book that they both pronounced the author's name differently. Then Bron comes in and says it a different way also. But they ask Bron about the roundup of criminals and he points out that now they only had to worry about the unknown criminals.

2024-11-24 02:20:29 +0000 UTCAs far as directors and whatnot, Miguel Sapotchnik (sp?), directed this episode and also did some of the best in GOT, Blackwater, Battle of the Bastards, the one when the wildlings attacked the Wall, etc.

2024-11-24 01:19:39 +0000 UTCAmazing comment, just a minor correction. The Master of Ships is a Velaryon, part of the great houses of Old Valyria.

2024-11-23 23:40:22 +0000 UTCSorry!! Lmao! I am Sheldon Cooper when it comes to spoilers; saying it was mindblowing, would then have my mind preblown going in. Everything is a spoiler personally so i never know what someone elses line is aha. So youll get no help from me, only in hindsight. (if you want to know the time jumps - they are listed -just the length of the jumps- at the bottom) :) •Pay attention to who is on the Council. ;) -Hand of the King; Otto Hightower -Grandmaester; Mellos -Master of coin; Lord Lyman Beesbury -Master of Laws; Lord Strong -Master of Ships; Lord Corlys Velaryon Lord Commander of the -Kingsguard; Ser Harrold Westerling *Viserys doesn't feel the need for a Master of Whisperers* ----- •In the History/Books - Valyrians are not black. They are spitting images of Targaryens but the show runners changed it for a "reason"🙄(i think it was unnecessary but I understand why for other ppls understanding and to dissolve any conflict(within the audience/definitely not the show ahaha) in what will come to fruition😅) ------- • There were six months between episode 1 & 2. Three years between episodes 2 & 3, Ten years between episodes 5 & 6, and six more years between episodes 7 & 8. From episode one to episode 10 there is about a 20 year jump. However, s2 continues in real time and the time jumps stop :)

2024-11-23 18:14:38 +0000 UTC“The gods have yet to make a man who lacks the patience for absolute power, your grace…” This applies to Otto himself. Viserys picks up on that too.
