Big day around here, because today we are kicking off a brand new show. It's Jujutsu Kaisen. Or as we like to call it JJK. 😂 We've had this one recommended quite a bit, and it did well in the poll so we can't wait to find out what it's all about. So let's hop in and see.
We are breaking out the notepads just until we have a good foundation built. But episode one is off to a great start! We think there could be some history of family abilities passed down now to Yuji. This show seems like it's going to move fast. Good first episode, excited for the next one.

I think Jujutsukaisen is more interesting if you know Japanese religious views, because those kind of folktales and legends do exist all over Japan. A lot of anime is influenced by that. I once actually got scolded removing that kind of talisman from my school when I was a kid, haha. I put it back where it was the next day. Shinigami from Death note is 死神 translated as death God Shikigami is 式神=Ceremony God, it’s a spirit serving the sorcerer. I hope it helps!
