We didn't have to wait long for the return of AOT. It's time to start S4, THE FINAL SEASON!! And we can't wait to find out what is in store this season and the roller coaster that awaits us.

also I think it would be beneficial to watch in dub this season because there are a lot of lore and important details yall might miss watching in sub. its easier to understand in the dub and I personally think the voice acting is just as dope as sub :P but up to yall

Back in Paradis island the scouts have the attack and colossal titan, with the female frozen and the founding titan somewhere in the island. again the 9th titan is unknown

2024-11-05 23:53:34 +0000 UTCso 9 Titans, we know so far by this episode: 1) Armor (Reiner) 2) Female (Annie, still frozen under the Scout's custody) 3) Colossal (Berthold now Armin) 4) Beast (Zeke) 5) Attack Titan (Eren, was his dad's before and was the owl before him) 6) Founding (in Paradis island somewhere idk if it's known at this point so I won't spoil who has it) 7) Jaws (Galliard; they said the name of this titan this episode but I think you guys missed it, but yes it was Ymir before Galliard) 8) Cart (Pieck, they said the person's name and their Titans name this episode too but again I think u guys missed it) 9) this one is unknown at this point, it has not been mentioned yet

2024-11-05 16:31:09 +0000 UTCit really is confusing at first. but here are some important info in this episode: 1) Timeline - this episode is 9 years after the attack on Paradis to take the Founding Titan which was the initial attack of Colossal and Armored with Annie. this is also 4 years after Beast retreated with Reiner, meaning 4 years after the episode when Colossal was eaten by Armin and after the discovery of the truth in the basement. During this entire 4 years, Marley was at war with another nation and they've been using Eldians and all their Intelligent Titans to win the war for them. So, that was a 4-year-older Reiner, not his dad, LOL! 2) The kids - they are the current Warrior candidates from whom the next intelligent titans will be passed on to. And yes, they are all Eldians working for Marley. 3) Galliard (name of the person) and the platypus-looking titan (the titan names were actually mentioned but you may have missed them in the episode 'cause it wasn't clear who they were talking about) - yes, these are the other 2 titans that are under control of Marley. you are correct about Ymir's titan, which is now Galliard's. 4) Lost of Colossal and Annie - what they meant here is that they currently have no control of these 2 anymore (Colossal is now Armin's and Annie is still under Paradis' custody). so out of the 7, they now only have 5 under Marley's control (4 that you saw in this episode and 1 that you haven't encountered)

Since the war came into picture with allied forces, they had to stop the mission on taking founding titan and focus on allied forces. And it lasts for 4 years.

From my personal point of view it's best to just treat this and the next couple of episodes as if you're watching a spin-off with easter eggs referring to season 1 to 3 of AoT.

2024-11-05 15:33:16 +0000 UTCI'm sure you guys figured out the timeline in the next episode, but just in case: This happens after s3. “They lost the female and colossal titan” meaning they lost Annie (she froze herself in a crystal) and lost Berthold (Armin ate him). Reiner, Berthold, and Annie were in our walls for 5 years. Then they failed and left (by “they” I mean Reiner and Zeke because the other 2 were lost). Then this war started because of their failure. This war lasted for 4 years, as they have stated. So it has been 4 years since season 3/since they've seen the basement.
