Levi's childhood story is traggic. You will see a glimpse of it on one of the upcoming episode. He is one of my fave character on AOT.

2024-06-29 16:06:11 +0000 UTCRemember the scene in the forest with Eren and the Levi squad being chased by the female titan? Levi told Eren to make a decision he won't regret because even he doesn't know what the outcome would be. This is a parallel to Erwin's speech to Levi of not regretting his decision. Levi didn't want to persuade Eren into the same bad decision he once made. However in the end, Eren chose to have trust in his comrades, similarly to how Levi trusted Farlan and Isabel. Which was what resulted in their comrades' death.
