God Damnnn! (2 things to talk about)

Firstly

Not sure if I've mentioned it already but the next video is on a game call Face of Mankind. It's something that I've not seen anyone talk about and the story is absolutely nuts. The game basically died 3 times all for various reasons and the rabbit hole is riddled with dead links and hidden lore.

With the video nearly ready to publish. I got a message yesterday from the lead dev of this game.

Next Week + Patreon 2023 Update

Not gonna lie, the last video really took it out of me. So I took some time off to chill with friends and to learn more about editing while looking at ways to improve the writing behind these types of videos.

This is just a taste of what's to come and it's nothing too impressive but there were a lot of inefficient processes behind the scenes that I've been trying to clear up. Thought it would be worth getting all that sorted before the new year hence why things have been slow.

Old Channel. New Content!

Finally, second channel, that has been dead for so long, is back.

I've spent some time in the background while working on the main channel to bring you this whole new format.

This is Worst Game On Steam, where we try to find the most borked games in the darkest depths Steam.

Thanks to you guys and all your support with allowing me to go full time. I've been able to work on more than just one video at a time. This one took far less time in general compared to the main channel...

*sigh* My Brain Left Me

I wanted to give you guys an update on what's going on behind the scenes and to keep you in the loop.

Main Channel

I'm still at it and working on the DreamWorld vid. If you know about this "game" then you that a lot of crazy stuff has happened with it. 

This video is easily the largest What Went Wrong I've ever done. It's a 14 page script so far and will be more once it's finished.

Already cracking on with the next vid. It's the first time I've had to take a break just to calm down from a laughing fit.

Progress

It's funny how in this video and my others, I always complain about over promising. My last progress post said that this video would be out by now but I clearly underestimated this one. But it'll be out soon with a celebration stream for my new Affiliate status!

The good news is that this is one day of work. I'd have only managed one quarter of this in a night after my previous full time job. 

I can't say it enough but, thanks for the support. Now I can just focus.

40k Progress Report #1

While I edit the next video. This is my Grand Master Nemesis Dreadknight in progress. Been trying to figure out what loaf out to go with. But I’m thinking Sword and Psilencer Gatling.

Need to shave off some of the glue and nibs but it’s looking kinda cool. Thinking of celebrating Twitch Affiliate with some Grey Knight building.

This months funding goes towards a new mic. The blue yeti as cliche as it is served me well.

I was going to buy the typical Shure SM 7B that every YouTuber and streamer seems to have. That thing costs about £300 plus you’d need a Cloudlifter which is another £120. Decided to get the Rode Podmic that does exactly the same thing with very similar quality only for £85.

So in a nutshell, the audio quality of future videos should sound a lot better!

Quick Progress

Thought I'd at least give you all an idea of when the next big video is coming out. 

I'm planning for release this week hopefully on the 7th or 9th at the latest. From what I can tell already, this is gonna be pretty big and will include multiple games as I'm making a video on a developer we've covered before because the story is too good not to share.

Things have always been slow on this channel. As you may already know, I actually work two jobs. My full time and YouTube. When I got the first big boom, when the channel blew up I seriously thought about going full time with YouTube there and then but I wanted to test and see if this was just dumb luck or if I actually have a chance at a career in what I do.

It's a beautiful game

As you may already know by now. I've finished the game. My initial thoughts are that it's got a lot of promise, there are a lot of things that it does right but in the end everything falls flat on it's face due to the repetitive nature of the game. It's a great experience but for the price it's currently at. I couldn't recommend it unless if it's on a decent discount. 

Had a lot of fun with this one, and I'm looking forward to sharing the final product with you.

Legit got myself a Troll Horse

Played 12 hours of Biomutant so far. It's not bad but I'm starting to see a decline in the experience as I progress. This next video is gonna be a a fairly positive What Went Wrong I think. 

Bit more off than I can chew with this one.

I was split between just giving a few hours of my experience in We Happy Few but after spending nearly 30 hours exploring and beating the game (not including the DLC) I've a lot of funny bugs and genuine criticism of the game. Still punching hard to get this one out soon. 

Looking forward to getting your names on the list, this should be a big one.

Had a really crappy office chair for the longest time which had no actual back support as if you lay back it’ll tilt all the way. Unfixable and my back has paid the price but I decided to upgrade with a full on gamer chair to celebrate the success. I hate buying fancy stuff but damn does this make a difference and I’ll consider this my first business expense. Thank you guys for supporting my back. Looking forward to bringing the milk in the next video!
